The minor blues scale - 5 positions
A minor blues scale is simply a minor pentatonic scale with one note added, "the blue note". This note gives the scale a very bluesy sound. The fingering is just a suggestion, when practicing the scale up and down. When you are playing and improvising, you need to be more flexible in your fingering.I use different fingering, depending on what type of phrase I'm playing, if I'm bending a note or if I'm moving through different positions.
