The minor blues scale - 5 positions
A minor blues scale is simply a minor pentatonic scale with one note added, "the blue note". This note gives the scale a very bluesy sound. The fingering is just a suggestion, when practicing the scale up and down. When you are playing and improvising, you need to be more flexible in your fingering. I use different fingering, depending on what type of phrase I'm playing, if I'm bending a note or if I'm moving through different positions.
